The Nigeria Network of NGOs (NNNGO) supports Nigerian NGOs in their commitment to poverty reduction, promotion of human rights and in bringing development to the door-steps of the common man. We provide a range of services and opportunities to our members in order for them to achieve their organizational objectives and exert influence on issues of national importance.

NNNGO’s Main Programme

Through the NNNGO Code of Conduct for NGOs, we are promoting and administrating high ethical and effective development practice amongst our members. The Network is working independently with its members to undertake a review of the future of the work of NGOs in relation to legitimacy, transparency and accountability with a view to putting in place systems, policies and procedures that can aid effectiveness and efficiency of our work as a sector.

By representing the sector to the Nigerian Government and other key stakeholders, we have ensured that the voices of our members are put forward in discussions and engagements with Government. NNNGO on some Government committees widening debate on national issues and strengthening collaboration between Government and members of the Network.

SDGs Campaign

NNNGO continues to champion the attainment of the SDGs through deep dive research and annual flagship reports that contributes a deeper understanding to poverty in Nigeria to improve policy making. We influence policy and practice nationally, regionally and globally to tackle the causes and consequences of complex issues poor people face, foster partnerships between government, civil society and private sector to fund and implement sustainable projects, emphasizing measurable impacts and strengthen capacity for collecting nonprofit data and promote community-led monitoring of progress on the SDGs.

NNNGO facilitates the exchange of information and learning amongst its members in order to improve the quality work they do both in service design and delivery. Tailor-made capacity building trainings are delivered regularly to meet the evolving needs of our members.
